Michigan voters should use the Drop Box at their clerk's office to deliver their ballot on time.
That's the recommendation of the Michigan Secretary of State's office. You want to avoid any delays in getting that ballot turned in on time.
"On time" means at your clerk's office by 8 pm on August 4th (Election Day).
If you must use the US Mail, get your ballot in the mail by JULY 21.
This allows for possible delays in getting the mail through. Postmarks don't matter, so you need to leave plenty of time.
